Looking for information on the Election for School District?

The Town and the School District run separate elections because they are different public agencies with different responsibilities and governing boards. Town elections choose officials such as Council members, who make decisions about town services, public safety, infrastructure, and local policies. School District elections choose School Board members, who oversee public schools, educational programs, budgets, and district policies.

Although both serve the same community, each has its own elected governing body, legal authority, and election process to ensure voters select representatives focused on the unique responsibilities of each organization.
