Coaches In Training
Earn Volunteer Hours, Serve Your Community & Have A Blast!
The Town of Windsor Coaches In Training program teaches young people ages 13-15 how to effectively facilitate recreational youth sports practices and games. With guidance and supervision from Town of Windsor Recreation Leaders, Coaches in Training will help explain drills, teach fundamentals and engage young athletes in fun learning.
Coaches In Training will sign up to assist Recreation Leaders with a session of our Youth Volleyball, Hoopers Basketball or T-Ball programs. These introductory, non-competitive sports programs serve children between the ages of 4 and 12 and teach them the fundamentals in a safe, friendly atmosphere.
Coaches-In-Training must be able to commit to a full session of a sports program. Any absences due to a prior commitment must be communicated to Recreation Coordinator in advance, as well as any unplanned absences due to illness or personal emergency.
