Hoopers Basketball

Hoopers Basketball is a non-competitive basketball program where youth learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The program takes place at Huerta Gymnasium and all instruction is provided by Town of Windsor Recreation Leaders.

Hoopers is for everyone!  Whether your child has experience or has never picked up a basketball, they are welcome to participate.


2026 Hoopers Fall Clinic


  • Tuesdays October 6 through November 10 at Huerta Gymnasium
  • Little Hoopers (Ages 5-6) practice from 4:30-5:30, Big Hoopers (Ages 7-9) from 5:45-6:45pm
  • $66 Windsor Residents, $71 Non-Residents.

2027 Hoopers Basketball League


Little Hoopers Basketball


  • Ages 5-6 - $90 Windsor residents, $95 non-residents
  • Season runs from Tue 1/5 to Sat 3/6 
  • Practices on Tuesdays at either 4:30pm or 5:30pm, depends on team assignment*
  • Games on Saturdays at either 8:30am or 9:30am, depends on team assignment**
  • Break week is second week of February - no practice on 2/9, no game on 2/13

Big Hoopers Basketball


  • Ages 7-9 - $90 Windsor residents, $95 non-residents
  • Season runs from Wed 1/6 to Sat 3/6
  • Practices on Wednesdays at either 4:30pm or 5:30pm, depends on team assignment*
  • Games on Saturdays at either 10:30am or 11:30am, depends on team assignment**
  • Break week is second week of February - no practice on 2/10, no game on 2/13


*If players have a conflict on a given day, they may attend the practice time they were not initially assigned as long as prior notice is given to Recreation Coordinator

**Unfortunately we cannot accommodate requests to reschedule games due to personal conflicts
