Recreation Leaders
Recreation Leaders work year round in our various programs and events including Camp Windsor, Youth & Adult Sports, Summer Nights on the Green, Rec Parties in the Park and more! This is the perfect (and most fun) job for outgoing role models who enjoy leading youth in exciting activities
Hours per week vary by program season, flexible scheduling available to accommodate school and other committments
Lifeguards
Lifeguards are required to maintain a vigilant watch over pool patrons, who are comprised of older adults (age 50+) and youth (during youth swim lessons.) Additional duties required may be attending to persons in distress, rendering first aid as needed and maintenance of pool, deck and/or locker room.
Current certifications in Standard First Aid, CPR Professional Rescuer and Lifeguard Training are required. Approximate total hours per week are 15-20, shifts vary.
Swim Instuctors
Swim Instructors plan and implement classes for all levels of swimming. This position is suited for those who love to work with children and have knowledge of aquatic skills. To qualify, the applicant must be able and willing to instruct all levels of the Town of Windsor Youth Swim Programs. Certifications in Standard First Aid and CPR are desirable.
Please note:
Recreation Leaders, Lifeguards and Swim Instructors must be 16 years of age by date of hire

Thursday 4/8: Start of position offering* process
Monday 6/7: Mandatory Staff Training Week begins
*All position offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a mandatory background screening, at no cost to the applicant
